June 7, 2005 - Petro Wins Endorsement of Delaware County Republicans
Last night Jim Petro took home a big prize in his campaign for governor by winning the endorsement of the Delaware County Republican Party. Delaware County is the fastest growing county in Ohio and the County Party has become one of the best organized Republican organizations in the state. "I am honored by the support of the Delaware County Republican Party. Counties like Delaware represent the future of Ohio and the heart of our Republican base" Petro said.
The members of the committee responded to Jim Petro's message that he is a public official who gets results, a man who is dedicated to family and conservative values, and the party's best chance to win a general election in November. "Jim Petro is the only candidate who can unite the party and have the organization to beat the democrats in 2006" said Jan Antonoplos, Delaware County Clerk of Courts and a Regional Chair of Petro's campaign. Noting the importance of Delaware County to the statewide hopes of Republicans, Antonplos continued "Bush doesn't win Ohio without counties like Delaware, and our support of Petro will help him win the primary and general elections." Antonoplos also served as a regional chair of the Bush campaign in 2004.
The Petro for Governor Campaign is building momentum heading into the summer. Already by far the most well funded candidate, Petro is currently showing his organizational strength as well. Winning the support of counties like Delaware adds significant strength to a ticket that already represents Cuyahoga and Hamilton County, which hold the first and second largest number of Republican voters in Ohio.

She enlightened college students at The Ohio State University Marion with knowledge, and stories that were truly interesting. She answered questions with ease, and showed that she was the best person for the job of municipal court judge. The college republicans have devoted their support to Judge Ballinger in the upcoming election. College republicans meet every Thursday on campus at 12:00 P.M. in room 210. College students are welcome to come and be a part of a winning organization with strong values that make us proud to call ourselves republicans. March 5, 2005 - Annual Marion County Republican Harding Day Dinner
The annual Harding Day Dinner was held at All Occasions Catering. Jo Ann Davidson,
It wasn't corporate dollars, national campaigns, nor even dollars spent that brought Ohio voters to the Republican side in the November elections. It was you. Individual campaign workers making phone calls, knocking on doors, talking to friends and neighbors that delivered the message and the votes. We each inspired those around us to show up at the polls. It was all of us that delivered the message that character matters and the importance of electing people we can trust that made the difference.
